LAWS OF MARYLAND.

WHEREAS, The said sums were paid into the State Treasury
by the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City,
less one per centum commission thereon.

WHEREAS, Three-fourths of said amount has been paid by
the State of Maryland to the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore.

Refund a sum
of money to
certain parties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to draw upon the Treasurer of the State for the
sum of sixty-four dollars and thirty-five cents in favor of
Clinton A. Wright, trustee of the Avon Bottling Company,
and also for the sum of thirty-two dollars and fifteen cents in
favor of Frank Sandkuhler, and for the sum of thirty-two
dollars and fifteen cents in favor of Edward A. Worintz and
Nathan Weiller, co-partners, trading as Worintz & Company,
and for the sum of sixty-four dollars and thirty-five cents in
favor of Louisa Schultz, administratrix of Leopold Schultz,
deceased, and for thirty-two dollars and fifteen cents in favor
of W. J. Wickham and B. Bornheim, co-partners, trading as
the Bayside Bottling Company of Baltimore City, for the
amount paid in excess of the amounts properly chargeable for
their licenses as such bottlers and wholesale liquor dealers for
the years 1890 and 1891.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore be and is hereby authorized and directed to pay
to Clinton A. Wright, trustee, the sum of three hundred and
seventy-five dollars; Frank Sandkuhler, the sum of one hun-
dred and eighty -seven dollars and fifty cents; Louisa Schultz,
administratrix, the sum of one hundred and eighty-seven
dollars and fifty cents; Edward A. Worintz and Nathan
Weiller, trading as Worintz & Company, the sum of one
hundred and eighty-seven dollars and fifty cents, and W. J.
Wickham and B. Bornheim, trading as the Bayside Bottling
Company of Baltimore City, the sum of one hundred and
eighty -seven dollars and fifty cents, being three-fourths of
the amount paid by the State to the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, as before mentioned in the preamble of this Act,
for the amounts paid in excess of the amounts properly
chargeable for their licenses as bottlers for the years 1890 and
1891.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
