Chapter four hundred and twenty-eight of the Acts of
eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section one hundred and fifty-five of Article 2, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Fish Crabs" and "Terrapins," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

155. It shall not be lawful for any person in the fish spawn-
ing season, that is to say, between the 15th of February and
the 15th of April in any year, to put, place or set, construct
or use in the waters of Severn River, at any point above Red
Point in the north side and Pumphrey's Flats in the south
side, or anywhere in Severn River or Severn River above said
points, any set net, fish basket, fish pot, fish trap, set line,
weir, pound net, byke seine, or dragnet, or any other instru-
ment or contrivance whatever now used in catching or
destroying fish, which may hereafter be invented for that
purpose, or to take, catch, capture or destroy by or from the
same or any of the same, except with hook and line; nor shall

it be lawful for any person, between March ist and May ist
in each year, to take or catch fish in South River above a
straight line, drawn from Hodges' wharf, on one side to "Old
Woman's Point" on the other side, through, or in any of the
creeks, coves and tributaries of either of said rivers within
the time hereby limited above points when any such creek,
cove or tributary is in the channel of a less depth than three
feet.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 378.

AN ACT to add five sub-sections to Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester
County," sub-title "Wild Fowl," to be known as Sections
335. 336, 337, 338 and 339.

Shall not be

within certain
limits in
South River.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That five additional sections, designated as Sections
335. 336, 337, 338 and 339, to be added to Article 10 of the

Dorchester Co.
