under oath, to any justice of the peace for said county of any
violations of any of said provisions, the justice shall issue his
warrant for the arrest of the offenders and the seizure of all
sink-boxes and bushwhack boats and vessels, decoys, tackle
and other furniture belonging thereto, which warrant shall be
directed to the special policeman or to the sheriff or any con-

assist in carrying out the several provisions of this Act, and
any one resisting an officer or other person authorized to make
arrests and seizures shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon indictment and conviction in the Circuit Court for Cecil
County shall pay a fine of not less than fifty dollars and not
more than one hundred dollars, or be imprisoned in the county
jail not less than thirty days nor more than sixty days, or be
both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the court. And
said special policeman whose duty it shall be to enforce the
provisions of this Act shall receive an annual salary of fifty
dollars, to be paid by the County Commissioners of Cecil
County.

368. If any person shall violate any of the provisions of
said sections in regard to shooting wild fowl, he shall, upon
conviction thereof before a justice of the peace for Cecil
County, be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than one
hundred dollars, except as follows: Any one who shall shoot
wild fowl from a sink-box or bushwhack boat, duly licensed
as aforesaid, upon any other day than those mentioned in
section three hundred and sixty-one, shall, upon conviction

thereof before any justice of the peace of Cecil County, pay
a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than ten dollars
for each offense; any one who shall shoot wild fowl from a
sink-box or a bushwhack boat, duly licensed as aforesaid,
without first having obtained the consent of the owner or
tenant of the land opposite to whose shore the sink-box is
placed, shall, upon conviction thereof before a justice of the
peace for Cecil County, pay a fine of not less than five nor
more than ten dollars for each offense.

How fines
may be
recovered.
How divided.
|
369. All such fines, whether the same may be recovered by
an action of debt in the name of the State (which process is
hereby authorized) or secured by public sale, as provided in
Section three hundred and sixty-six, shall be divided as fol-
lows, viz., one-half to the informer and the other half to the
County Commissioners for the use and benefit of the county;
and all moneys accruing from the sale of such licenses not ex-
