CHAPTER 49.
AN ACT to authorize and empower Junius M. Baker to con-
struct in front of his property, in the town of Cambridge,
Dorchester County, a wharf or shell walk extending, out
into the Great Choptank River.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Junius M. Baker, of the town of Cambridge, in
Dorchester County, be and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to construct and erect a wharf or shell walk at and
adjoining the land of the said Junius M. Baker, on Water
Street, in said town of Cambridge, said wharf or shell walk
to extend out into the Great Choptank River for a distance
not exceeding three hundred yards, to be of a width not
exceeding the width of the said land of the said Junius M.
Baker, to be immediately in front thereof, and to run and
extend with the entended lines of the said land out into said
river; provided such wharf or shell walk be constructed and
established on or before the first day of January, A.D., 1905.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said wharf or shell walk
when so constructed and erected shall be the property of the
said Junius M. Baker, his heirs and assigns forever.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 50.
AN ACT to repeal Sections sixty -one and sixty-three of Arti-
cle 13, of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Har-
ford County," sub-title "County Commissioners," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections sixty-one and sixty -three of Article 13 of
the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
61. He shall receive such annual salary as the County Com-
missioners shall direct not to exceed the sum of $900, and
shall not be entitled to any other fees or emoluments.
