voting precinct of said county, and in each voting precinct in
each set of ballots there shall be one hundred more ballots
than there are registered voters in each of said precincts. On
one set of ballots there shall be printed, "For Subscription to
the Baltimore and Southern Railroad Company Bonds," and
on the other set of ballots, "Against Subscription to the Bal-
timore and Southern Railroad Company Bonds," and on both
sets of ballots, at the top thereof, there shall be a distinct
reference to this Act. When a duly registered voter enters
the polling place of any of the precincts of said county, and
his name has been found as a duly registered voter, he shall
be handed the ballot which he desires to vote, and shall forth-
with hand the same to the judge at the ballot-box and then
retire from said room.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That said Supervisors of Elections
for said county shall for said elections appoint two judges and
two clerks, and no more, for each voting precinct of said
county, who shall each receive two dollars for the day, and
no more, except the return judge shall receive an additional
two dollars for the day he returns to the Supervisors of Elec-
tions the returns from his said precinct; the returns from said
election shall be made by the return judge from the several
precincts to the Supervisors of Elections, who shall canvass
the result, as provided by law, and shall transmit the same to
the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, who
shall record the same in the manner prescribed by Section
seventy-six, of Article 33, of the Code of Public General Laws
of this State.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 178.
AN ACT to repeal Section fifty-eight, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County," sub-title "Circuit Court," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section fifty-eight, of Article 16, of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County," sub-
title "Circuit Court," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read:
