WHEREAS, The State received one-fourth of said money so
erroneously paid, and the City of Baltimore three-fourths
thereof, and the same should be refunded by said municipali-
ties in that proportion; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State Treasury be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrants on the
Treasurer for the sum of sixty-one dollars and eighty-seven
cents to the order of Philip Lobe, and a similar warrant to
the order of Henry Rosenheim & Sons for one hundred and
eighty-five dollars and sixty-two cents, and the Treasurer is
directed to pay same out of any moneys in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller of Balti-
more City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant on the City Register in favor of Philip Lobe
for one hundred and eighty-five dollars and sixty-three cents,
and a similar warrant in favor of Henry Rosenheim & Sons
for five hundred and fifty-six dollars and eighty-seven cents,
and the said City Register is directed to pay the same out of
any moneys in the city treasury not otherwise appropriated.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 25.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
thirty-four of Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title, "Allegany County," sub-title "County Commis-
sioners."

land, That Section thirty-four, of Article 1, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County," sub-title,
"County Commissioners, " be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments.

Allegany County, to be held in said county Novem-
ber, nineteen hundred and one, a Clerk for the Board
of County Commissioners shall be elected by the quali-
