charged against the county aforesaid, and shall certify the
same under oath, and he shall furnish the statement so made
to the said Commissioners at least ten days before the day
upon which they shall determine and order the annual levy
for the said county, and that it shall be the duty of the said
Commissioners to place on said levy for the use and benefit of
said Register of Wills such an amount of money as he shall
be entitled to according to his statement as aforesaid.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to prevent the use of a Purse Net in the waters of
Chesapeake Bay, east of a line drawn from Handle's Point,
in Kent County, to Riedett's Point, in Harford County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That no person or persons shall catch fish with a purse
net east of a line drawn from Handie's Point, in Kent County,
to Riedett's Point, in Harford County.

SEC. 2. Any person or persons who is found catching fish
by the use of a purse net, upon conviction thereof shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined by the
court not less than five dollars nor more than twenty-five dol-
lars for each offense, at the discretion of the court.
SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

AN ACT to change the name of Parsons Creek Election Dis-
trict, of Dorchester County, to that of Taylor's Island Elec-
tion District, of Dorchester County.

land, That the name of Parsons Creek Election District, of
Dorchester County, be and the same is hereby changed to that
of Taylor's Island Election District, of Dorchester County.
