Changing the
metes and
bounds of
certain elec-
tion district.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the metes and bounds, courses and distances of
Election District No. 21, be changed as follows, viz: Beginning
at Zion Church, on the Bedford Road, and running thence
down Peavine Run to Mrs. Hardman's; then with the County
Road to Frantz Bridge; then across by the Southern Church
to the bridge on the turnpike at Moses Wilson's; thence west
by the National Pike to the road at Hamilton's blacksmith
shop; thence with a straight line to the Southern Church, on
the top of the mountain, near Evans Rice's; thence by a
straight line to the Twiggtown School House; thence with
the top of Martin's Mountain to the Pennsylvania line; thence
with Pennsylvania line west to the centre of Bedford Road;
thence with the centre of Bedford Road to the place of begin-
ning.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Talbot County

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Commissioners of
Easton to execute a deed or deeds of release to the Avon
Hotel Company of Talbot County and John Mason, res-
pectively, of so much of the lots enclosed by them, respect-
ively, as was formerly covered by an alley running north
from Dover street as a continuation of Talbot lane, in
exchange for another parcel of land to be used for a public
alley.

Preamble.

WHEREAS. It appears from the old plats of the town of
Easton that many years ago the alley known as Talbot lane,
now running south from Dover street, extended under another
name northerly through the lot of ground in said town for-
merly belonging to the late Isaac L. Adkins; and
WHEREAS, During the lifetime of said Isaac L. Adkins an
arrangement was made by the said Adkins with the Commis-
sioners of Easton to exchange for any right which the town
of Easton might still have to an alley through said lot a strip
of land lying at the northernmost side of said lot, adjoining
the property of Mrs. Maria E. Pascault, and extending from
Harrison street to meet an alley known as Turn Again alley,
running westerly from Hanson street; and
