SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section be added to Article 45, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Husband and Wife," as
repealed and re-enacted by Chapter four hundred and fifty-
seven, of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, such
additional section to be known as Section 19 A, to follow Sec-
tion nineteen, and to read as follows:

Wife.

19A. A married woman may contract with her husband, and
may form a copartnership with her husband, or with any other
person or persons in the same manner as if she were femme
sole, and upon all such contracts, partnership or otherwise, a
married woman may sue and be sued as fully as if she were a
femine sole.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 634.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 3, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Chapter
'five hundred and fourteen of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed in the year 1898, entitled
"An Act to incorporate the Frederick, Thurmont and
Northern Railway Company," and re-enact the same with
amendments, conferring enlarged and additional powers;
and to change the name of said company to "The Wash-
ington, Frederick and Gettysburg Railway Company."

and Northern Railway Company," a body corporate hereto-
fore incorparated by Chapter five hundred and fourteen of the

1898, entitled an "Act to incorporate the Frederick, Thur-
mont and Northern Railway Company," be and the same is
