994 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 27 Also, favorably, Senate bill No. 261, entitled "An Act to repeal sections 8, 9, 12, 13 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34 and 36, of Article 65, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Militia,' as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of As- sembly of 1896, and to re-enact the same with amend- ments, and to add additional sections to said Article 65, Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Militia,' as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of Assembly of 1896, and by this Act to be known and designated as ‘Sections 14 A, 50, 51, 52 and 53.'" On motion of Mr. Putzel, Said bill was referred to the Committee on Finance. Mr. Betts, from the Committe on Agriculture, reported House bill entitled "An Act to add three additional sections to Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Fraud,' sub-title ‘Fruit and Vegetable Pack- ing,' to follow section 104 and to be known as ‘Sections 104 A, 104 B and 104 C." On motion of Mr. Putzel, Said bill was referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from Committee on Sanitary Condition of State, reported favorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 11 of Article 32 of the Code of Pub- lic General Laws of Maryland, title ‘Dentistry' and to re- enact the same with amendments." Which was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading, ORDER OF THE DAY. The hour of 1.30 P. M. having arrived, The Senate considered the Order of the Day, being Senate bill No. 5, entitled "An Act to repeal section 461 of Article 4, Public Local Laws, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Gas Companies,' as amended and re-enacted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, and re- enact the same with amendments." |
