The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third read.
Also, favorably, with proposed amendments,
House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a certain
sum of money for the purpose of repairing and refurn-
ishing the Executive Mansion."
In line 3, of section 1, of the engrossed bill, strike out
the word "five” and insert the word "ten” in lieu thereof.
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second time.
Also favorably, with proposed amendments,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for the paving
of the driveway around State Circle and certain streets
surrounding the Executive Mansion in the city of An-
napolis by the State of Maryland, and the Mayor, Coun-
sellor and Aldermen of the city of Annapolis."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 32 of engrossed bill, strike out the word
"twelve” and insert the word "eight."
In line 40 of engrossed bill, strike out the word "six”
and insert the word "four."
In line 42 of engrossed bill strike out the figures
"$18,000” and insert the figures "$12,000."
In line 31 of engrossed bill, strike out the word
"Bladen” and insert the word "School."
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,
and
The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Bouic, from Committee on Judicial Psoceedings,
reported unfavorably,
Senate bill No. 262, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 920 of Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Crimes and Punish-
ments,' sub-title ‘Fraud—Conversion by Factors of Con-
signed Goods,' as enacted by chapter 619 of the Acts of
1890."
Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, moved that said bill
be substituted for the unfavorable report.
