On motion of Mr. Crothers, The Senate reconsidered the vote by which said bill was passed, and Pending the further consideration of said bill, it was made the Special Order of the Day for Tuesday. March 27th, at 1.30 P. M. House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the Susquehanna Power and Paper Company of Harford county, a corporation organized under the Public General Laws of the State of Maryland to enlarge its powers and to change the corporate name thereof, by omitting there- from the words ‘of Harford county.'" Being on its third reading, AMENDMENT PROPOSED. By Mr. Putzel, Amend by adding at the end section 4, the follow- Ing: "Provided, however, That said corporation shall in all respects be subject to the provisions of chapter 123, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1896, and all ordi- nances passed by the Mayor and City Council of Balti- more in conformity therewith, and shall be subject to the control in every respect to the Mayor and City Coun- cil of Baltimore, in so far as its operations may be car- iied on in the city of Baltimore, and nothing herein con- tained shall be construed to the contrary."
