1900.] OF THE SENATE. 97 BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. January 22, 1900. Gentlemen of the Senate: We have received your message proposing, with the concurrence of the House of Delegates, the appointment of a Joint Special Committee, to consist of five members, three on the part of the House, and two on the part of the Senate, whose duty it shall be to correspond with the -General Assembly of Virginia or committee thereof, for the purpose of having enacted concurrent legislation on the part of Maryland and Virginia, relative to fish and oysters in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs. Roberts, Satterfield and Dudley of Queen Anne's. By order, B. L. SMITH, Chief Clerk. Whi3h was read. Also, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 442, of the laws passed at the January session of 1898, title ‘Talbot County,' sub-title ‘Fish.'" Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays." Which bill was read the first time, and referred to Sen- ators Dodson, Kirwan and Applegarth. At 8.45 P. M., On motion of Mr. Bouic, The Senate adjourned.
