REPORT OF SELECT COMMITTEE.
Mr. Bouic, from Select Committee, reported favorably
with proposed amendments,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to add additional sections
to Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Montgomery County,' sub-title ‘Justice of the Peace,'
to be designated as ‘Sections 127 A, 127 B, 127 C, 127 D,
127 E, 127 F, 127 G, 127 H, 127 I, etc.'
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend by inserting on second page of original bill on
the ninth line, after the word "State," and before the
word "which," these words, "or according to the provis-
ions of this Act."
Amend by striking out on the second page of the
original bill on twenty-second line, all words after
"cases” down to the word "shall," on the twenty-third
line of said page, and inserting in lieu thereof "in which
a person is not liable to infamous punishment or con-
finement in the Penitentiary."
Amend on fourth page of original bill, on fourth line,
by inserting the word "not” after the word "State” and
before the word "entitled."
Which amendments were severally adopted..
Said bill was then read the second time and ordered
engrossed for a third reading.
