Mayor and City Council of Havre-de-Grace to issue bonds
to the amount of $20,000 to raise money to extinguish
the floating debt of said city, and for other purposes, as
set forth in said amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
1. Strike out the word "section” where it occurs as
designating numbered sections 140.

18), 155; (page 20), 155 A, 155 B; (page 21), 156; (page
22), 156 A. and 157 B; (page 25), 157 A and 157 B; (page
26), 157 C and 158; (page 27), 158 B, 159 and 159 A: (page
29), 163; (page 30), 175; (page 31), said pages being page
numbers of engrossed bill.
2. In Code section 144, line 21 of engrossed bill, before
the word "counci]," insert the words "members of the,"
and after the word "qualified," in said line, insert the
words "or the members of the council elected and quali-
fied, as the case may be."
3. In Code section .145, line 15 of engrossed bill, after
the word "officers," insert the words "after due notice in
writing, and opportunity to be heard."
4. In Code section 150, line 7, strike out the words
"for misconduct in office," and insert in lieu thereof the
words "as authorized by law," and in line 17 of said sec-
tion, after the word "premium," insert the words "if
any."
5. In Code section 152, line 2 of engrossed bill before
the word "not," insert the words "directly or impliedly
authorized by the sub-title, and."

7. In Code section 155 B, line 9, after the word "un-
paid," insert the words "beybnd the 20th day of Febru-
ary."

8. At the end of Code section 156, strike out the words
"and no action shall be brought to dispossess any one of
real estate held under a sale made for taxes."
9. In Code section 157 C, lines three and four of
engrossed bill, strike but the words "or which may be
in the hands of a receiver;" and also in lines and 7 of
