Mary's counties."

Mr. Bouic, from Committee' on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, with proposed amendment,

Senate Joint Resolution for the publication of the Gen-
eral and Local Laws passed by the General Assembly of
Maryland, at the Jauuary ses sion, 1900."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED,

Amend by striking out on line 13, the words "and Acts
of incorporation," and. inserting in line "14” after the
word "laws," the words "and Acts of incorporation."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The Joint Resolution was read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor
and Council of Kensington, Montgomery county, Mary.
land, to issue bonds for the purpose of providing a proper
water supply for said town."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

On page 3, line 2, after the word "against," strike out
"all lots and undivided lands lying," and insert in lieu
thereof "all taxable property."
On page 3, line 14, after "against," strike out "all lots
and undivided lands lying," and insert in lieu thereof "all
property."
On page 4, section 6, line 7, strike out all words in said
section after the word "service."
On page 4, section 7, line 15, strike out the words "a
majority," and insert in lieu thereof "three-fifths."
On page 5, section 7, line 1, strike out the words "a
majority," and insert "over two-fifths
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,
