Mr. Bryan, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 146, of
Article 4, of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore city,
known as ‘Charter and Miscellaneous Local Laws, as en-
acted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898, and re-enact
the same with amendments."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
President Hubner, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for a sanitary
officer for the 13th Election District of Baltimore county."

Which was read the second time.
Nr. Wilkinson, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of St. Mary's county, to pay to
the Town Commissioners of Donaldtown, the money lev-
ied in said town for road tax."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Mr. Putzel, from Select Committee, reported favorably
with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal end re-enact with
amendments, sections 43 and 51 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1898, chapter 123, being Art-
icle 4 of the Code of Public Laws, title ‘Baltimore City,'
sub-title ‘Charter relaxing to Collection of Taxes."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by inserting after the word "City” in line 18,
of the engrossed bill, the following: "One of which shall
be in the German Language."
Also,
Amend on line 34 of the bill by substituting the word
"them” for the word "four."
Which proposed amendments were adopted, and
The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
