870 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 21 House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County School Commissioners of Dorchester county to establish a High School in the town of Hurlock in said county, and to provide for an annual appropriation to be made by the State, of a sum of money to aid in the support and main- tainance thereof." The question recurred upon whether or not said bill should be substituted for the unfavorable report by the Committee on Finance. Which was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Applegarth, Marsh, Dennis, Messick, Dick, Putzel, Dodson, Ravenscroft, Gray, Rohrhack, Kirwan, Wilkinson—12. NEGATIVE. Messrs. President, Moore, Betts, Peter—5. Bryan, The said bill was read the second time. FOURTH ORDER OF THE DAY. The hour of 9 P. M. having arrived, The Senate considered the Fourth Order of the Day, being Senate bill No. 222, entitled "An Act to add new sec- tion to Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, titcle ‘License,' to follow section 81 B, and to be desig- nated as ‘Section 8t C.'"
