M. having arrived, The Senate considered the Second Order of the Day, being Senate bill No. 80, entitled ‘An Act to provide for the crea5ion of additional and partial scholarships at St. John's College for the aid of needy and deserving stu- dents in Maryland." The question recurred upon whether or not the bill should be substituted for the unfavorable report by the Committee on Finance. Which was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Baker, Moses, Beasman, Peter, Bryan, Putzel, Dennis, Ravenscroft, Dick, Rohrbaok, Dodson. Williams, of Har.
