On motion of Mr. Moses, The Senate reconsidered its action by which the amend- ment proposed to House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 16, 17, 20. 31, 32 and 37, of Article 59, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Lunatics and Insane,' and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add three new sections to said Article, to foflow section 38, and to be designated as ‘Sections 39, 40 and 41.' Was adopted. Said amendment was then stricken out, and Said bill was read the second time. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES. Mr. Williams, of Anne Arnudel, from Committee on Sanitary Condition of the State, reported favorably, Senate bill No. 164, entitled "An Act to regulate the practice of medicine and surgery, to create Boards of Medical Examiners and to regulate the fees and ernolu- merits thereof, to prevent the practice of medicine and surgery by unauthorized persons and to provide for the trial and punishment of violators of the provisions of this Act by a fine or imprisonment, or both, and to repeal and re-enact, with additions and amendments, sections 39, 40, 41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59, of Article 43, of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Health,' sub-title ‘Practition- ers of Medicine,' and to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict or inconsistent with this Act, and to add ad- ditional sections thereto, to be designated as ‘Sections 39, 40, 41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59.'
