792 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 20 Senate bill No. 144, entitled "An Act to repeal sections 6, 15, 18, 32, 33 and 34, of chapter 495, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the session of 1898, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments the charter of the town of Brunswick, in Frederick county, as said charter was enacted by chapter 577 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session of 1890, and amended by chapter 520 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1894, and by chap- ter 386 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1896, and to re-enact said sections 6, 15 and 18 of said chapter 495- of the Acts of 1898, so as to read as follows." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. In title, line 1, strike out the following, "32, 33 and 34." In section 1 line 2, strike out the following, "32 33 and 34." Which proposed amendments were severally adopted, and The bill was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Also; favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to add 4 new sections to Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Fied- erick County,' under the new sub-title ‘Mount Pleasant,' to follow sections 373 of said Article, and to be known as ‘Sections 373 A, 373 B, 373 C and 373 D,' being an Act to- prohibit the running at large and pasturing live stock along the turnpike which runs through the village of Mt. Pleasant, Frederick county, Md." Which was read the second time. Mr. Betts, from Select Committee, reported favor- ably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 194 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled ‘Washington County,' sub-title ‘Hagerstown,' and to re- enact the same with amendments."
