A bill entitled "An Act to add three additional sections
to Article 96 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, entitled ‘United States,' to follow section 18,
and to be known as sections 19, 20 and 21."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Federal Relations.
By Mr. Bouic,
A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 501 of the
Acts of 1898, title ‘Revenue and Taxes,' and re-enact the
same with amendments."
Which was read time first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
By Mr. Putzel,
A bill entitled "An Act to establish a commission for
the purpose of investigating the affairs of the Street
Railway Companies, Gas Company, Electric Light Com-
panics and Telephone Companies of Baltimore city, and
to confer powers and duties upon said commissioners,
and to compel the examination and production of books
and papers and the attendance and examination of wit-
nesses."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
