In section 13, on last line of said section insert the
words "or supplements” between the words "amend-
ments” and. "thereof."
Which proposid amendments were severally adopted.
And the bill was read the second time and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Bout., from Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, with proposed amendments;
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendmets, section 81, of Article 5, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title ‘Appeals and Error,' sub-title
‘Appeals from County Commissioners."
AMBNDMENT PROPOSED.
After the last word "Appeals," In section 1, Insert
"unless the court shall otherwise direct, and all appeals
from decisions of the County Commissioners shall be
docketed against the party or petitioners In whose favor
decision below was made."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second time.
Mr. Boulc, from Select Committee, reported favorably
with proposed amendments,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to change the name of
Washington and Rockville Railway Company of Mont-
gomery county. a corporation formed under the provi-
sions of Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws,
of this State, and to authorize the consolidation of said
company with certain other corporations incorporated for
the same or similar purposes, and to grant additional
powers to the said railway company."
Annnns PROPOSED.
At the end of section 6, add "provided nothing In this
Act shall be taken or construed to be a release or dis-
charge of any right for damageo to property or person
Inflicted by any of said companies or any abatement of
any suit or action In law or equity now pending, but that
all such rights and action at law or In equity shall be and
remain as If no such consolidation bad taken place and
no change In the name of any of said companies kadbeen
made and all judgments and decrees recovered and rend-
ered shall be as binding and effective as If this Act had
not been passed.
