646 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar.14 WEDNESDAY, March, 14th, 1900, The Senate met at 12 M. Prayer by the Rev. Father Kautz. Present at the roll call the following Senators Messrs. President, Appiegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts, Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Dod- son, Gray, Kirwari, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel, Ravensci oft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—25. The Journal of Tuesday was read and approved. PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS. President Hubner presented the Resolutions of the Quarterly meeting of Friends, Park avenue and John St., for a General Local Option Law. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temperance. Mr. Bryan presented a petition from E. Harry Hall and 20 voters of Baltimore city for the passage of a Gen- eral Local Option Law Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temperance. Mr. Kirwan presented a petition from W. E. King, J. H. Edenfield and 60 others asking for a General Local Option Law. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temperanc. ORDERS On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, it was Ordered, That John E. McCusker be paid the sum of $37.93 for repairs to Senate Chamber, Committee Rooms and furniture during the session. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. . |
