On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
The Senate went into Executive session.

At 10.13 P. M.,

On motion of Mr. Putzel,
The Senate resumed Legislative Business.


At 10.15 P. M.,
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
The Senate adjourned.



TUESDAY, March 13th, 1900.

The Senate met at 12 M.
Prayer by the Rev. Father Duke.
Present at roll call the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts,
Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Dennis, Dick, Dodson, Gray,
Kirwan. Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel,
Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford,
Williams, of Anne Arundel—24.
The Journal of Monday was read and approved.


PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
The president Presented a resolution from Emmanuel
Baptist Church favoring the passage of the General
Local Option Law.
Which was read amid referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
Mr. Bryan presented a petition from Dr. Vett M. Ben-
ham and 57 others asking for the passage of the General
Local Option Law.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
Mr. Peter presented a petition from Margaret Beal,.
Frances M. Brown and others of Prince George's county,
asking the Senate to oppose the sale of a school house
in the 14th district of said county.
