Mr. Dick, from Select Committee, reported favorably
Senate bill No. 173, entitled "An Act to submit to the
legal and qualified voters of the town of Lonaconing, in
Allegany county, Maryland, the question whether or not
certain additional sections should be added to chapter
435 of the Acts of 1893, amendatory of the Act of 1890,
chapter 132, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Lonaconing, in Allegany county."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill No. 174, entitled "An Act to repeal section
13, chapter 425, of the Acts of 1892, amendatory of the
Act of 1890, entitled ‘An Act to incorporate the town of
Lonaconing, in Allegany county,' and re-enacting the
same with amendments, as follows:
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Mr. Ravenscroft, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 4, of
chapter 24, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the session of 1S98, providing for the
payments of the floating debt of the town of Oakland,
the improvement of the streets of said town and the
purchasing and operating of' an electric light plant there-
in, and to re- enact the same with amendments."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Rohrback, from Select Committee, reported favor-
