Amend section 1 by inserting the words "Article 46,"
after the word "that," at the end of line 1 of the engros-
sed bill.
Amend by inserting the figures "46," after the word
"follows” on line 4 of section 1 of the engrossed bill.
Amend title by inserting the word "sub-title” after
the word "attachments."
Amend section 1 by inserting the word "sub-title” of
line 2 of engrossed bill.

Mr. Beasman, from Committee on Temperance, repoi
ted favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend section 653 G.,
of Article 4, entitled ‘License.' sub-title ‘Liquor and In-
toxicating Drinks,' of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from the Committee on
Sanitary Condition of the State, reported favorably,
Senate bill No. 164, entitled "An Act to regulate the
practice of medicine and surgery, to create State boards
of medical examiners, and to regulate the f€es and emol-
nments thereof, to prevent the practice of medicine and
surgery by unauthorized persons and to provide for the
trial and punishment of violators of the provisions of this
Act by a fine or imprisonment, or both, and to repeal and
re-enact with additions and amendments, sections 39, 40,
41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59 of Article 43, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title ‘Health,' sub-title ‘Practition-
ers of Medicine,' and to repeal all laws or parts of laws
in conflict or inconsistent with this Act, and to add addi-
tional sections thereto, to be designated as ‘Sections 39,
40, 41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59.'"
