Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 11, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ‘Fred-
erick County,' by inserting after section 139, under a
new sub-title to be designated ‘Fees of Officers,' certain
additional sections to be known as ‘139 A,' and ‘139 B,'
regulating certain fees to be paid to the Sheriff of Fred-
erick county and to the county constables of said
county."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably, with proposed amendments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add two additional sec-
tions to Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Anne Arundel County,' sub-title ‘Roads,' to follow sec-
tion 203 X, and to be known as ‘Sections 203 Y and 203
Z,' so as to limit the amount to be expended upon the
public roads of Anne Arundel couuty”

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 7, of section 203 Y, and after the word "than”
strike out "thirty-five” and insert "fifty” and in line 9,
section 203 Y, after the word "than” strike out "forty”
and insert "fifty” and at end of section 203 Y, add "pro-
vided that should the proposed Act of Assembly provid-
ing for the permanent improvements of the public road
from Camp Parole to South River Bridge then the por-
tion of the cost of the same, to be paid by the 1st, 2nd
and 8th election districts shall not be included in the
amount which by this section the County Commissioners
have limited to, in levying for roads In said district."
