President Hubuer, from Select Committee, reported favorably, with proposed amendment, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 137 to 142, both inclusive, of Article 3, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ‘Baltimore County,' sub- title ‘Justices of the Peace and Constables,' and to re- enact said sections with amendments, and to add new sections to said Article, to he designated as ‘Sections 142 A, 142 B, 142 C and 142 D,' and to repeal chapter 597, of Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to confer additional juris- diction upon Justices of the Peace of Baltimore county, and to repeal chapter 496 of the Acts of 1892, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 3, of chapter 597, passed at January Session 1898, entitled an Act to confer additional jurisdiction upon Justices of the Peace of Baltimore county." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. In last line of 1st page, strike out 7 and insert 8, and in line 1, of 2d page, strike out the word "4” and insert "5” in lieu thereof. In line 9, page 2, of the bill, strike out the word "5," and insert the. word "6." In line 13, page 2, strike out "8” and insert "9." In line 18, page 2, strike out "6” and insert "7."
