Senate bill entitled "An Act to add new sections to
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Anne
Arundel County,' sub-title ‘County Commissioners,' to be
designated ‘Sections 126 B, 126 C and 126 D,' authorizing
the county commissioners to have witnesses summoned
to testify before them.'"
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Mr. Dennis, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal sub-section 210
L, of Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, title ‘Somerset County,' sub-title
Princess Anne,' as amended by sub-section 210 L, of the
Acts of 1894, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.'
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.


SECOND ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour having arrived,
The Senate cons3dered the Second Order of the Day,
being
House bill entitled "An Act to transfer to the Cherry
Hill, Elkton and Chesapeake City Railway Company of
Cecil county the sum of $58,000, which by the Act of
General Assembly of Maryland of 1894, chapter 85, was
appropriated and transferred to the Elkton and Middle-
town Railroad Company of Cecil county, and Elkton and
Southern Railroad Company in certain contingencies."
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:
