REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Peter, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for the select-
ing, drawing and summoning of jurors for Howard
county."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Mr. Beasman, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 42 of the
Acts passed at the January session of the General As-
sembly of 1894, entitled ‘An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 142 of Article 7, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title ‘Carroll County,' sub-title
‘State's Attorney."

On motion of Mr. Beasman,
Said bill was recommitted to the Select Committee.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 91, of the
Acts of 1894, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Mt. Airy, in Carroll and Frederick counties, and the sev-
eral Acts and parts of Acts amendatory thereto, and to
re-enact the said Act of 1894, with amendments."
Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal the 144th section
of Article 7, of Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, relating to the town of Taneytown, in Carroll
