charter of the American Bonding and Trust Company of
Baltimore city, and t-o repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, sect-ion 3, of chapter 252, of the Acts of 1894, in-
corporating said company under the name of the Ameri-
can Banking and Trust Company of Baltimore city, and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments sub-section 2,
of section 1, of chapter 41, of the Acts of 1896, amend-
ing the charter of said company and changing its name
to that of ‘The American Bonding awl Trust Company
of Baltimore City,' and to increase the capital stock of
said company and to enlarge the powers of its officers."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill No. 189, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments sections 2 and 3, of chapter 322,
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898,
entitled an Act to amend the charter and extend the
powers of the Frederick Electric Light and Power Com-
pany of Frederick city, a corporation formed under Arti-
cle 23, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled ‘Corporations,' and recorded in one of the Rec-
ords of Corporations of Frederick county, Liber No. 2,
folios 265 and 266."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the qualified
voters of Pocomoke city, Worcester county, to decide by
ballot whether or not coupon bonds not exceeding the
amount of eight thousand dollars, shall be issued by said
city for t-he purpose of providing a proper electric light
plant for said city."
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Beasman, from Committee on Inspections, reported
favorably,

Senate bill No 192, entitled "An Act to regulate the
sale of milk and skimmed milk, and to prevent the sale
of sophisticated, adulterated or unwholesome milk, to fol-
low section 138, Article 27, and to be designated as ‘Sec-
tions 138 C, 138 D, 738 E, Public General Laws."
