Also favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to add two new sections
to Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Alle-
gany County,' sub-title ‘Jurors,' providing for the selec-
tion and drawing of jurors in said county, said sections
to follow section 178, and to be designated as ‘Sections
178 A and B.'"
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third time.
Also favorably,
Senate bill No. 149, entitled "An Act to regulate elec-
trical wiring and installation in the State of Maryland
and to prevent incompetent persons from engaging there-
in, and to provide for the appointment of a commission
to supervise and enforce the provisions hereof."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out the words "one of whom is to
be a consulting electrical engineer” in the 10th and 11th
lines of section 1, and inserting in lieu thereof the fol-
lowing: "Who must be practical men of at least five
years experience."
Amend section 3 by adding at the end thereof the fol-
lowing: "But the commissioners shall issue probationary
certificates to bona fide applicants, and shall have power
to revoke said probationary certificates upon the failure
of the applicant to submit to aud pass the examination
herein provided."
Amend by adding at the end of section 4 the follow-
ing: "Said fines to be collected as other fines and forfeit-
ures are collected."
Amend section 10 by striking out the words "each
month," at the end of said section, and inserting in lieu
thereof the following : "Every two weeks”
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,

engrossed for a third reading.
