Also, returned, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 261, 262 C, 262 K, 262 N, 262 Q, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Harford County,' sub-title ‘Taxes,' as enacted by the Act of 1898, chapter 204, and to re-enact the same with amendments.' Endorsed: "Senate amendments non concurred in, and bill returned to Senate with request to Senate to recede from its amendments." Mr. Williams, of Harford, submitted the following mesiage: BY THE SENATE, March 6th, 1900. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: We have received your message announcing your non- concurrence in the amendments proposed by the Senate to House. bill file No. 111, printed No. 119. We propose the appointment of a committe of conference on the dis- agreeing votes of the two Houses, and have named on the part of the Senate Messrs. Williams, of Harford, Croth- ers and Baker. By order, ALFRED RITTER, Secretary. Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of Delegates. The President distributed the following message from the House of Delegates: House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the Home of All Saints' Sisters of the Poor of Baltimore city." |
