Mr. Peter, from Select Committee, reported favorably, with proposed amendments, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 116 E and 117, of Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Prince George's County,' sub-title ‘Treasurer,' as enacted by chapter 222, of the Acts of the General As- sembly of Maryland, of the year 1898, aud to re-enact the same with amendments." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. 1. In line 1 of section 1, after "county omit the words "elected on the 7th day of November, 1899." 2. Omit all of "Section 116 E." 3. Add as Section 2, "and be it enacted that section 116 E of this Act shall not apply to the present incum- bent of the office of Treasurer of Prince George's county during his term of office." Change "section 2” to "section 3," in second line, 4th page. Which proposed amendments were severally adopted, and The bill was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr Peter, from Select Committee, reported favorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to regulate the keeping of the records and accounts in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court for Prince George's county."
