A bill entitled an an Act to add a new section to Arti-
ticle 35, of the Maryland Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Evidence," to follow after section 35. of said
Article, under sub-title "Proof of Consideration," and to
be known as "Section 35 A."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings, hereafter to be ap-
pointed.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 116, of Article 16, of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Chancery," sub-
title "Partition."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings, hereafter to be ap-
pointed.
By Mr. Beasman.
A bill entitled an Act to make valid deeds, mortgages,
bonds of conveyance and bills of sale, defective in the
acknowledgment or in certificate thereof.

Committee on Judicial Proceedings, hereafter to be ap-
pointed.
By Mr. Rohrbach.
A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed
at the January session, 1894, chapter 562, entitled "An
Act to change the name and amend the charter of the
Asylum and Training School for the Feeble Minded of
the State of Maryland, incorporated by the General
Assembly of Maryland, at its session of 1888, chapter
183," and to appropriate a sum of money for the benefit
of the Maryland Asylum and Training School for Feeble
Minded.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance, hereafter to be appointed.
