1892, entitled ‘An Act prescribing the regulations and
conditions upon which the Board of Public Works shall
sell the State's interest in all works of improvement,' as
said section 2 was amended by chapter 172 of time Acts
of 1896."
Pending further consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Crothers,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Monday, March 5th, at 8.30 P. M.
Also favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to refund to John R. Ben-
ton, of Queen Anne's county, a sum of money erroneously
paid by him into the State Treasury."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundei county to subscribe to
the capital ,stock of the Baltimore and Southern Railroad,
Company."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en
grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to transfer to the Cherry
Hill, Ehkton and Chesapeake City Railway Company of
Cecil county, the sum of $58,000, which by the Act of
General Assembly of Maryland of 1894, chapter 85, was
appropriated and transferred to the Elkton and Middle-
town Railroad Company of Cecil county, and Ehkton and
Southern Railroad Company in certain contingencies."
Pending further consideration, of which
On motion of Mr. Crothers,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Friday, March 2d, at 1.30 P. M.
Ms. Crothers, from Committee on Finance,' reported
favorably the following order:
Ordered, That P. Cooper Wysham and George A. Tay-
lor, pages of the Senate, be paid the sum of $2.50 addi-
tional per diem, from January 3d, 1900, so as to make
