Mr. Bouic, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported favorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to grant and declare the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Mary- land' to the bequest to the Wesley Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church, of Annapolis, Maryland, as contained in the last will and testament of Joseph S. M. Basil, late of Anne Arundel county, deceased." Which was read the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Also favorably, Senate bill No. 153, entitled "An Act to add an addi- tional section to Article 51, of the Code of Public Gen- eral Laws of Maryland, entitled ‘Justices,' to he known as ‘Section 23,' and to follow section 22.'" Which was read the second time and ordered to he en- grossed for a third reading. Also, favorably, Senate bill No. 155, entitled "An Act to repeal section 12, of chapter 457, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session of 1898, en- titled ‘An Act to repeal Article 45, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Husband and Wife,' and to re-enact the same with amendments." Which was read the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. |
