462 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 1 that the First and Second Branches of the City Council of Baltimore have passed the following resolution: Resolved by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore that the Seuators and Members of the House of Dele- gates from Baltimore city be, and they are hereby, re- quested to use all honorable efforts to secure the passage of the bill now pending in the State Senate, limiting the price of gas to one dollar per thousand feet; and that a copy of this resolution he forwarded to the members of the Legislature. On motion of Mr. Marsh, it was Ordered, That Senators Gray, Ravenscroft and Dick be excused from to-day's session. On motion of Mr. Rohrback, it was Ordered, That the State printer be and he is hereby directed to furnish 1,000 roll calls for the use of the reading clerk of the Senate. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. On motion of Mr. Peter, it was Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns that it takes a recess until 8 o'clock this evening. INTRODUCTION OF BILLS. By Mr. Moses, (by request,) A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendment section 3, of chapter 296. of the Acts of As- sembly of Maryland, 1898, entitled an Act to provide for a State subscription to Perkins' Annotated Maryland Reports." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. |
