Present at roll-call, the following Senators:

Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel,
Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford, Williams,

The Journal of Wednesday was read and approved.


PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Dodson presented a petition from James H.
Cooper and 71 other citizens of Talbot county, asking for
the passage of a general local option law in the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
