1900.] OF THE SENATE. 461 At 3.06 P. M., On motion of Mr. Peter, The Senate adjourned. THURSDAY, March 1st, 1900. The Senate met at 12 M. Prayer by the Rev. Father Kautz. Present at roll-call, the following Senators: Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts, Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dodson, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—22. The Journal of Wednesday was read and approved. PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS. Mr. Dodson presented a petition from James H. Cooper and 71 other citizens of Talbot county, asking for the passage of a general local option law in the State. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temperance.
