nance.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared, and
delivered the following message:
By PIlE HOUSE OF DELEGATEs.
February 27, 1900.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates having concurred in Amend-
ments Nos. 1 and 2, proposed by the Senate, to the
House bill Local No. 232, entitled "An Act to authorize
and empower the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to change the grade of public road in the Thir-
teenth district of said county, commonly known as the
'Washington Turnpike Road,' at and near the place where
the same crosses the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad at
grade, for the purpose of doing away with such grade
crossing, and to provide for the construction of the
bridge or bridges that may be made necessary thereby,'
has refused to concur in proposed amendments Nos. 3
and 4 to said House bill. We respectfully request your
Honorable Body to recede from said amendments Nos. 3
and 4, and we return said bill herewith.

Which was read.

Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 91, of the
Acts of 1894, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Mt. Airy, in Carroll and Frederick counties, and the sev-
erel Acts and parts of Acts amendatory thereto, and to
re-enact the said Act of 1894, with amendments."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time, and referred to Sen-
ators Beasman, Rohrback and Peter.
