Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, to construct a
draw bridge over Long Cove, in Anne Arundel county,
and to provide by taxation for the cost of same."

grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for transcribing
and making a general index of marriage records in the
office of the clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
county, Maryland."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Beasman, from Select Committee, reported
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
County School Commissioners of Carrol county, to refund
to Mary A. Hoff, of Carroll county, State of Maryland,
widow of Levi B. Hoff, of said county and State, deceas-
ed, $43.75, less 5 per cent. for money paid by the said
Levi B. Hoff in his lifetime for an unused hotel license
issued in said Carroll county."
Which was read the second time.
Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal the 154th section
of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, relating to the town of Taneytown, in
Carroll county, as amended by section 154, chapter 584
of the Acts of 1894, and to re-enact the same in an amen-
ded form."

Mr. Dick, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
with proposed amendments,

inclusive, of Article 1, of the Public Local Laws of Mary-
