AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out after the word "Mining” on
line 6, section 144 A, the words "or Manufacturing."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and

The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably, with proposed amendments,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 9, of Article 12, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title Garrett County,' sub-title Birds
and Game,' and to add a new section thereto, to follow
said section, to be known as ‘Section 9 A.'"

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
After the word "same," in bill in section 1, line 21, add
"and a oerson not an actual resident of the State of
Marylanct shall be deemed a non-resident for the pur-
poses of this Act, although he may be an incorporator or
member of a club of any kind, incorporated or located
in the State of Maryland.'

In section 9 A, line 2, strike out the words "Garrett
county," and insert the words "the State of Maryland."

Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 276, of Article 2, of the Code of
Pablic Local Laws, title ‘Anne Arundel County,' sub-title
‘County School Secretary, Treasurer and Examiner,' as
the same was enacted by chapter 71, of the Acts of 1898."

Which was read the second time and ordered tobe en-
grossed for a third reading.
