Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Dennis, Messick and Wilkinson. By Mr. Williams, of Harford, A bill entitled "An Act to add certain new sections to the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Public Educa- tion,' under the new sub-title ‘Expenditures for Higher Education,' to follow section 123, to be known as ‘Sec- tions 124, 125 and 126.'" Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. Also, A bill entitled "An Act to amend section 3, Article 1, of the Constitution of this State, and to provide for the submission of said amendment to the qualified voters of this State for adoption or rejection." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Constitutional Amendments. Also, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 2, Article 87, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title ‘Sheriff' sub-title ‘Oaths of Office and Bonds,' as the same was repealed and re- enacted by chapter 647 of the Acts of the General As- sembly of Maryland, passed at the January session, 1894” |
