and to re-enact the same with amendments."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Moore, from the Committee on Corporation; re-
ported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 2, chapter 318, of the Acts of 1898,
entitled an Act to incorporate the Realty Trust Company
of Maryland, and to add to the same an additional section
to be known as ‘Section 21,' changing the name of said
corporation."
Which was read the second time.
Also, with recommendation that said bill be referred to
the Committee on Finance,
House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges.
enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the Jacob
Tome Institute, a corporation iuóorporated under the
General Incorporation Laws of this State, and whose
charter was amended by an Act passed by the General
Assembly of Maryland, session of 1898, chapter 76."
Which was referred to the Committee on Finance.
Also, with recommendation that said bill be referred to
the Committee on Finance.
House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate the sum of
$1,573.07 out of the public school funds, to reimburse
Garrett county for an instalment of the State School Tax
withheld from said county, in the year 1899, and also to
authorize and direct the Comptroller to apportion to said
county the Instalment known as the ‘March Instalment
of the State School Tax for the year 1900,' said instal-
ment being the apportionment made to said Garrett
county on The 15th day of March in each year."
Which was referred to the Committee on Finance.
Also favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to empower the United
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore city, a body cor-
porate, formed under the General Incorporation Laws of
the State of Maryland, to enlarge the number of its
