INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Moses,
A bill entitled "An Act to repeal that portion of the
Act of Assembly of 1892, chapter 200, which reads as
follows: ‘Provided, however, that nothing contained In
this Act shall be deemed, or taken to modify or change
In any manner the provisions of ordinance number 41, of
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, approved May
.9th, 1889, as the rights and privileges granted thereby
to the companies therein named or either of them,' and
to repeal that portion of section 1, of chapter 123, of the
Acts of Assembly of 1898, sub-dIvision 0, entitled 'Gen-
eral Powers,' sub-title ‘Streets, Bridges and Highways,'
which reads as follows: ‘Provided, however, that nothing
contained In this Article shall be deemed or taken to
modify or change In any manner the provisions of ordi-
nance number 41, of the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore, approved May 9th, 1u89, or the rights and privi-
leges granted thereby to the companies therein named,
or either of them.'"

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 87, of ArtIcle 81, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title ‘Revenue and Taxes,' sub-title
‘Payment of Taxes by Corporations,' and also to add two
new sections to said Article; the first under the sub-title
‘Valuation and Assessment,' to follow section 2, and to
be known as ‘Section 2 A'; and the second under the
sub-title ‘Appeals,' to follow section 18 B, and to be
known as ‘Section 18 C."

Committee on Finance.
