418 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 26 the terms of the Acts of 1896, chapter 264, entitled An Act to provide for the appointment of commissioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States, and to authorize the appointment and continuance of commissioners thereunder.' Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. Also, A bill entitled "An Act to add certain new sections to Article 48, of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'In- spections,' under the new sub-fitle ‘Feed Stuff,' to follow section 83, and to be known as ‘Sections 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92.'" Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Inspections. By Mr. Bouic, A bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of Montgomery county to levy a sum of money to refund to the heirs of Jacob Young, deceased, late of said county, certain taxes erroneously paid by them." Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Bouic, Williams, of Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel. By Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections 276, of Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Anne Arundel County,' sub-title ‘County School Secretary, Treasurer and Examiner,' as the same was enacted by chapter 71, of the Acts of 1898." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Education. By President Hubner, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 11, of Article 51, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Juries,' and to re-enact the same with amendments." Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. |
