said chapter 245 of the Acts of 1894, with amendments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 411 printed bill, after the words "subjected to”
strike out all down to "and inclusive of the word pro-
vided." in line 415, and insert as follows: "the same pen-
alties for first and subsequent convictions as provided by
the Public General Laws of similar offenses."

In line 439 printed bill, after the word "Hotel” strike
out the words "ordinary restaurant and other eating
place."
In line 355 printed bill, strike out the woM "for” be-
fore penalties, and insert the word "fix."

In line 407, printed bill, strike out the words "two-
thirds thereof," and insert the words "all said license fee
except the proportions of such licenses as are due to the
State in conformity to the provisions of Article 56, of
the Code of Public General Laws, or any amendments
thereto for similar licenses."

engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Moore, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of ‘the
McClenahan & Brother Granite Company of Harford
county."

Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Rules, reported the
following order:
Ordered, That the name of Senator Kirwan be added
to the membership of the Engrossing Committee.
Which report was adopted.
And the order was adopted.
