Whereas, he is recorded as voting for said bill when he
is and was unalterably opposed to its provisions, it was
Ordered By the Senate, that the name of Senator
Wilkinson be and the same is hereby ordered expunged
from the Journal of Thursday last as voting in favor of
said bill.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Moore moved that the Senate reconsider the
motion by which
Senate bill No. 5, entitled "An Act to repeal section
461, of Article 4, Public Local Laws, entitled ‘City of
Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Gas Companies,' as amended and
re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898, and re-
enact the same with amendments."
Was made the Special Order of the Day, for Wednes-
(lay, February 21st, at 1 45 P. M.
And that the Senate Chamber be tendered to the pub-
lic and to the represeutatives of the Gas Company im-
mediately after the session of the Senate upon Monday,
February 26th.
And that pending further consideration of said bill, it
be made the Special Order of the Day for Tuesday,
February 27th at 12.30 P. M.
Which motion was withdrawn.
On motion of Mr. Moore, it was
Ordered, That a pablic hearing will be givtn in
Senate chamber on to-morrow, Wednesday evening,
tween the hours of 5 P. M. and 6 P. M., upon the
known as the " Dollar Gas Bill," and that it be made
Special Order for 12.30 P. M. next Tuesday.
