Which was read and referred to the Committee on Federal Relations. Also, A petition from John Edwards and forty others, for a general Local Option Law. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Temperance. INTRODUCTION OF BILLS. By Mr. Moses, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 387, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Miscellaneous Local Laws.'" Which was read the first time and referred to Sena- tors Bryan, Moses and Putzel. By Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, A bill Entitled "An Act to repeal sections 218, 219, 220 and 221, of Article 5, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title Anne Arundeh County,' sub-title ‘Stock and Swine,' and to re-enact the same with amendments." Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators Williams, of Anne Arundel, Bouic and Peter. Also, A bill entitled "An Act to authorize and. direct the School Commissioners of Anne Arundeh county to ap- propriate a sum of money for the purchase of a site and the erection of a school house for white children near Lothian, in Anne Arundel county." Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Williams, of Anne Arundel, Peter and Bouic. |
